The seat grew out of a longing for plants, while I was discovering the charms of icebound Iceland. I drew inspiration by the handful from the nature and flowers so sorely missing there. Hence the name Flower.

The seat grew out of a longing for plants, while I was discovering the charms of icebound Iceland. I drew inspiration by the handful from the nature and flowers so sorely missing there. Hence the name Flower. To build it I used elegant yet ecological materials, entirely friendly to people. Openwork folk ornaments will decorate a room in any style. Flower gives character to raw, industrial interiors, but settles just as comfortably into more traditional arrangements. It will liven up your living room, a guest room, even a hotel waiting area. The soft part of the seat, styled into the shape of a flower, is made by hand from what is left over after carpet production — soft, durable wool broadcloth. Comfort, luxury and function, for exceptional personalities only.

Materials:
Base: two tapered hoops — one of bent plywood, the other of rolled stainless steel
Seat: a composition of irregular strips of non-woven fabric bonded with broadcloth or wool felt
Some of the materials used are factory offcuts left over from production, to which I give a higher grade. They outlast most comparable products on the market. The broadcloth and felt parts are cut by hand, without using any energy.
Customisation:
Lighting can be fitted inside the seat. It brings out the rich ornament of the base even more.
The stainless steel parts, polished or matt, are available in versions with openwork ornaments.
