factory inspirations
Industry has fascinated me since childhood. When I was a little girl my father took me on trips around factories all over the world. I was captivated by the sound of the machines, the variety of materials and the industrial atmosphere. To this day factories are museums to me. They are what inspired the idea of using what is left over around production. Now, as a designer with twenty-five years behind me, I show people how to give raw materials a second, even better life by turning them into luxury pieces.
upcycling with soul
I steer clear of single-use objects. I focus on durable, natural, safe materials such as wood and wool. Reducing waste and reusing it lets me make furniture in a modern way. The results are functional, open to interpretation and, above all, ecological. My designs are an extension of nature, so you can enjoy it at home as well. I teach young people that this is the last call to take care of the world around us.
