Animals as if painted

Creative educational workshops designed together with the Silesian Museum in Katowice. A huge dose of inspiration came from the animal motif in the museum’s painting collection. During the session I took participants on a fascinating journey through paintings with animals — from farm animals to exotic and even fantastical ones. We looked at equestrian portraits and landscapes by outstanding Polish artists, then visited the Gallery of Non-Professional Art. In the practical part everyone could be creative. We finished by making colourful dragons using the upcycling method that is close to my heart. The material came from household waste — above all egg cartons.
