How many Christmas customs does your child know? „Advent calendar” is an educational workshop for families with children that I designed for the Historical Museum in the Sułkowski Castle in Bielsko-Biała. The fascinating history of Christmas customs inspired a festive trip into the past. The session began with stories about the traditions and legends around celebrating Christmas — now and long ago. Then came the practical part. Participants made three elevations of the castle, joined into three-dimensional boards with windows and doors that open. Like a classic advent calendar, they could hide 24 surprises inside — one for each day of Advent. A real treat for young and old.
